From January 28 to 30, 2024, the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Barito Selatan Regency conducted an online training session for the National Socioeconomic Survey/Survei Sosial Ekonomi Nasional (SUSENAS) and the Quarterly Household Economic Survey/Survei Ekonomi Rumah Tangga Triwulanan (SERUTI) Batch II via Zoom Meeting. This was followed by an offline training session on February 1, 2024, at Lutfan Hotel, Buntok.

The National Socioeconomic Survey (SUSENAS) is one of the most important sources of household socioeconomic data in Indonesia. The data produced by this survey has been widely used by various stakeholders both domestically and internationally. Additionally, the Central Statistics Agency also conducts the Quarterly Household Economic Survey (SERUTI), which is integrated with the SUSENAS March activities (Quarter I).
