On Saturday, August 17, 2024, at the BPS Barito Selatan office grounds, all employees participated in the ceremony to commemorate Indonesia's 79th Independence Day.

The Head of the General Affairs Subdivision of BPS Barito Selatan, who served as the ceremony leader on behalf of the Head of BPS Barito Selatan, delivered the message from the Acting Head of BPS Indonesia. The theme of the ceremony was "Nusantara Baru Indonesia Maju" (New Archipelago, Advancing Indonesia).
