Abstract

Kalimantan Tengah's NTP rose 0.93 points, from 96.62 percent (June 2019) to 97.55 percent (July 2019). This was influenced by the increase in the exchange rate of the smallholder plantation subsector (2.14 points), livestock (0.96 points), and horticulture (0.73 points).
  • The price index received by farmers (It) rose by 1.21 points, while the price index paid by farmers (Ib) decreased by 0.05 points.
  • The highest FTT occurred in the fisheries sub-sector (110.77 percent) followed by horticulture (105.70 percent), livestock (103.58 percent), food crops (93.98 percent), and smallholder plantations (91.40 percent).
  • The Agricultural Household Exchange Rate (NTUP) rose 0.95 points, from 105.34 percent (June 2019) to 106.29 percent (July 2019).
  • The Household Consumption Index (SCE) in rural areas amounted to 137.17 percent or deflation of 0.05 percent, followed by the inflation rate of the calendar year (2.56 percent), and year-on-year inflation (2.56 percent). The decline in the price index occurred in the foodstuffs group (0.20 percent) and processed food, beverages, cigarettes, and tobacco (0.04 percent).
