Abstract

The number of guests staying at star hotels fell 10.31 percent, from 26,269 people (July 2019) to 23,561 people (August 2019). The number of guests staying at non-star hotels also fell 26.20 percent, from 61,066 people (July 2019) to 45,068 people (August 2019).
  • Cumulatively, the number of guests staying at star hotels rose 4.33 percent, from 178,973 people (January-August 2018) to 186,730 people (January-August 2019). In contrast, the number of guests at non-star hotels fell 10.59 percent, from 486,242 people (January-August 2018) to 434,763 people (January-August 2019).
  • Room occupancy rate (TPK) of star hotels fell 4.09 points, from 58.05 percent (July 2019) to 53.96 percent (August 2019). In contrast, the ROR for non-star hotels rose 0.07 points, from 22.49 percent (July 2019) to 22.56 percent (August 2019).
  • Average length of stay (RLTM) at star hotels (1.64 days), longer than non-star hotel guests (1.29 days).
