The number of guests staying at star hotels fell by 51.26 percent, from 23,885 people (February 2020) to 11,642 people (March 2020). The number of guests staying at non-star hotels also dropped by 13.74 percent, from 64,608 people (February 2020) to 55,730 people (March 2020).
Cumulatively, the number of guests staying at star hotels fell by 17.04 percent, from 68,964 people (January-March 2019) to 57,210 people (January-March 2020). In contrast, the number of guests at non-star hotels rose by 23.21 percent, from 154,375 people (January-March 2019) to 190,199 people (January-March 2020).
Room occupancy rate (TPK) of star hotels fell 12.42 points, from 48.28 percent (February 2020) to 35.86 percent (March 2020). In the same period, the ROR of non-star hotels also dropped 5.27 points, from 21.30 percent (February 2020) to 16.03 percent (March 2020).
The average length of stay (RLTM) in a star hotel (1.55 days) is longer than that in non-star hotels (1.18 days).
