Abstract

In March 2020, the disparity in expenditure between residents in Kalimantan Tengah Province as measured by the Gini Ratio was 0.329 points.
  • This figure rose by 0.006 points when compared to the Gini Ratio in September 2019 which amounted to 0.335 points.
  • The Gini Ratio in urban areas was recorded at 0.361 or down by 0.006 points compared to the Gini Ratio in September 2019 which amounted to 0.367.
  • The Gini Ratio in rural areas in March 2020 was recorded at 0.289 points, or down by 0.003 points compared to September 2019.
  • The distribution of expenditure in the lowest 40 percent population in March 2020 was recorded at 20.44 percent, or at a low level of inequality.
  • In terms of region, the distribution of the lowest 40 percent of the population in urban areas is 18.39 percent, or is in the category of low inequality.
  • Whereas in rural areas, the percentage of distribution is higher at 22.44 percent and classified as low inequality.
