Abstract

Flight frequency in January 2024 decreased by 8.06 percent compared to December 2023, from 893 flights to 821 flights.

The number of air transportation passengers decreased by 5.21 percent, from 91,338 people (December 2023) to 86,581 people (January 2024).

Goods traffic using air transportation increased by 6.17 percent, from 1,247 tons (December 2023) to 1,324 tons (January 2024).

The frequency of ship visits to ports in the Kalimantan Tengah region decreased by 10.80 percent, from 759 visits (December 2023) to 677 visits (January 2024).

The number of sea transportation passengers decreased by 9.33 percent, from 42,582 people (December 2023) to 38,608 people (January 2024).

Traffic of goods using sea transportation decreased by 18.96 percent, from 1.90 million tonnes (December 2023) to 1.54 million tonnes (January 2024).

During January 2023, sea transport passenger activities were concentrated at Kumai Port (66.57 percent), while the flow of goods was concentrated at Sampit Port (42.97 percent).
