June 2024, inflation Year on Year (y-on-y) Kalimantan Tengah Province amounting to 2.22 percent. The highest inflation occurred in Sampit at 2.51 percent

·         In June 2024, year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Kalimantan Tengah Province will be 2.22 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106.66. The highest inflation occurred in Sampit at 2.51 percent with a CPI of 105.98 and the lowest occurred in Sukamara Regency at 1.42 percent with a CPI of 108.11.

·         Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in all expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 4.04 percent; clothing and footwear group at 0.36 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group at 0.10 percent; equipment, tools and routine household maintenance group of 0.64 percent; health group by 1.64 percent; transportation group by 0.70 percent; information, communication and financial services group at 0.05 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 2.32 percent; education group at 2.39 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 2.06 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 3.00 percent.

·         The month-to-month (m-to-m) deflation rate for Kalimantan Tengah Province in June 2024 was 0.28 percent and the year-to-date (y-to-d) inflation rate for June 2024 was 1.05 percent.
