Abstract
Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).
NTP is an indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchangeability (terms of trade) of agricultural products for goods and services consumed and for production costs.
The Combined NTP of Kalimantan Tengah Province in July 2024 decreased by 0.15 percent compared to June 2024, namely from 125.28 to 125.09. This decline was caused by the decline in exchange rates in several subsectors, namely Horticulture (2.22 percent), Livestock (2.72 percent), and Fisheries (0.03 percent).
In July 2024, there was a decrease in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) in Kalimantan Tengah Province by 0.63 percent, which was mainly caused by a decrease in the index in the Food, Beverage and Tobacco group (1.09 percent); Information, Communication and Financial Services group (0.03 percent); and the Housing, Water, Electricity and Household Fuel group (0.02 percent).
The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of Kalimantan Tengah Province in July 2024 decreased by 0.72 percent, from 129.84 (June 2024) to 128.91 (July 2024).
